We offer a bearing inspection service to evaluate current performance and residual function. From this we provide a full evidential report making recommendations where necessary.

During inspection there are key observations and measurements that can be interpreted by the experienced eye and be made without dismantling. In this work there are valuable safety and conservation issues.

Reports will be forwarded within 10 working days from the inspection date with photographs; typical or specific, for record or action. Bearings will be identified and all available data recorded e.g. type, size and any visible markings.

This service can embrace a number of structures on a rolling program or is available on a day to day basis. In many cases where access is simple, several bridges may be viewed in one day
